About Shealy-Hodges

— better known as Bernie, established Shealy-Hodges Corp in 1960.

He was determined to build a solid company built on honesty and trust. He succeeded only by hard work, and he earned the respect of others by setting an example. Shealy-Hodges Corp. was built on this principle and strives to uphold the integrity and standards set forth by Bernie.

Shealy-Hodges began as an HVAC company, and in the early 1970s, Mr. Hodges had an idea to expand the business. Seeing a demand at local hotels and restaurants for ice, he began to lease ice machines. The need was generated, first because of the constant need for repairs and second, the expense of purchasing one. We provide in-house service with experienced service technicians who are quick to respond to any related problems.

Out of the leasing service came the need for other food service industries to purchase restaurant equipment by financing. This enabled many establishments to purchase the equipment with a small outlay of cash yet maintain the service of the equipment throughout the term of the lease purchase. Financing is available from 90 days to 24 months.

We want to make sure that people are comfortable in their homes year-round and that our restaurants, bars, and other businesses in the community have what they need to provide for their customers/employees as well. The importance of having working refrigeration and ice machines for a business is always a top priority. When we can ensure our client’s needs are met, they can do so with their customers, and that is what we are about.
